Hello, fellow Citizendium users!

I was born in the "decade of me", the 1980's, in Denmark, attended a private Roman-Catholic school although neither I nor my parents are or were catholics. After primary school, i attended Aalborg Katedralskole, one of the country's oldest high schools.

I am currently a medical student at the University of Aarhus Medical School, located in Århus, Denmark. I currently work as a part-time nurse substitute for the Union of Danish Medical Students to earn a living before graduating.

Apart from my current and future profession, I have been an active musician from a very early age; having been taught to play the trumpet, and having taught myself to play the piano, I took classes in music theory, counterpoint and composition at the North Jutland Conservatory in Aalborg, Denmark. Currently, i mostly write and perform electronic music, but my interest and knowledge is in the whole of the Western music tradition.

A good example of the music, I do is: http://vizuali.se/music/righteous/

My studio is built around an Apple iMac computer, and a lot of hardware synthesizers, including:

  • Clavia Nord Lead 2X (2004)
  • Roland D-50 (1988)
  • Waldorf Blofeld (2007)
  • Dave Smith Mopho (2008)
  • Novation K-station (2002)

Currently, I am trying to work out how to use the FireWire bus to both run 64 channels of high-definition audio; 16 to and from my audio interface, 48 to and from my firewire DSP mastering board. I am considering plugging the DSP into the FireWire 800 port.
