Remark
I am not sure that splitting the article into sections "Psychometrics" and "Marketing" is helpful. Factor Analysis is used in many other social and physical sciences.John Williams

On Wikipedia, I added the "psychometrics" section, dealing with the field in which factor analysis originated, and someone else added the "marketing" section.
