I am not sure that splitting the article into sections "Psychometrics" and "Marketing" is helpful. Factor Analysis is used in many other social and physical sciences.John Williams
- This article was copied from Wikipedia. On Wikipedia, I added the "psychometrics" section, dealing with the field in which factor analysis originated, and someone else added the "marketing" section. I think Mathematical model ended rather abruply, but I suppose it is because the article is "under construction", and will continue with a discussion of rotation: orthogonal, some oblique models, as well as dismissing less significant factors as scree. Olav Næss 06:29, 7 April 2007 (CDT)
