Joe, what is the plan for the 2 parameter, I note you have not used it on the priority list. Could it not be shortened to the following?

Parameter 2 is used a couple of times. It replicates normal links that are piped. So [[Maya peoples|Maya]] becomes {{pl|Maya peoples|Maya}} --Joe Quick (Talk) 14:32, 17 September 2007 (CDT)

We probably don't really need to pipe links in a priority list. It just looks kind of silly to have the word "language" so many times in such a short list:

• Language
  • Modern spoken languages
    •  English language
    • Mandarin
    •  Spanish language
    • Zulu

There are a few other similar situations, and it allows me to write things like " This is an example of an approved article" but it wouldn't be a big deal to drop the piping. --Joe Quick (Talk) 17:07, 17 September 2007 (CDT)

Red link icon?

I agree with joe, they are obvious enough and I hate having too many icons. I was even thinking if we can make the icon we have smaller still (although that is a huge design issue so just ignore me). One issue i would like changed if possible is tjhat the yellow is still too light for me. I wonder if we might be able have colours that give a little more contrast. That would be good, Chris. I didn't mean for the system to start being implemented other than on the Anthro Workgroup page until after we had finished 'sperimentin. The colors and the icons both need to be adjusted I think, but we're getting pretty close to something workable. I've been away from writing articles though, so I'm going to see if I can get one together today or tomorrow and then clean up the stuff I've already started. In the mean time, you all are encouraged to experiment with this template but keep in mind that it is now being used on a number of pretty important pages.--Joe Quick (Talk) 13:33, 28 September 2007 (CDT)
