Origins
Given that these are the Norwegian names, would it not be more consistent to say it derives from Dansk rather than Danish? My sole competency, according to my Scandinavian friends, is to speak my minimal Svensk to Danes and Dansk to Swedes. Howard C. Berkowitz 20:05, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- 'Nynorsk' might be said to have entered the written (English) language. Doubt whether there's a standard pronunciation, though. Newnorsh? Ro Thorpe 21:04, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
