Hi! I have started this page on New Zealand, anyone with any knowledge please add to the page. If appropriate please reference any information provided. :)

Mention of Commonwealth in the lede

While New Zealand's membership of the Commonwealth is certainly worth mentioning somewhere in the article, I don't think that it's particularly a defining feature of the country any more, since NZ's relationship with the United Kingdom is becoming less relevant with each passing year. When I get a moment, I will expand somewhat on the history section, including some stuff about NZ's colonial history, and I think that perhaps the reference to the Commonwealth would be better mentioned in relation to that than in the lede.
