Talk:Governor General of Canada

Provenance
I wrote the initial four paragraphs.
I cut the table from the wikipedia, then cut out about half the fields. I did so under my understanding of the SCOTUS ruling in Feist Publications v. Rural Telephone Service. It says lists of facts are not eligible for copyright protection. Only text with a creative element is eligible for copyright protection. I figure that a list of the names of Governors General, and when they were appointed, was a list of uncopyrightable facts, as per that SCOTUS ruling. George Swan (talk) 01:11, 4 January 2024 (CST)
