Talk:Crazy
Still problems with this as an article title
Unfortunately, "crazy" is not a scientific term. Now, if you were to discuss and contextualize it in terms of popular culture, it's one thing. It's being linked from madness, which again is more literary than scientific. Neither are in Medical Subject Headings.
It has other slang connotations, such as "Crazy, Man!" from the Beat Generation.
Interestingly, it is used as a derogatory term from the perspective of some of the anti-psychiatry movements, as with the book Making Us Crazy: DSM, the Psychiatric Bible and the Creation of Mental Disorders. See reviews at [1].
When others (and there was more than one) suggested deletion, putting it back is not necessarily the height of collaboration. A Psychology editor may want to guide this. Howard C. Berkowitz 04:03, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
