Expand the section on Earth's atmosphere

It would be nice if someone would expand the section on Earth's atmosphere ... or better yet, write a stand-alone article devoted entirely to the Earth's atmosphere ... named "Earth's atmosphere" as a suggestion. Many CZ articles need that as a more appropriate link source than this article ... not that this article isn't useful, its content on the Earth's atmosphere is just too brief. I agree. When I wrote this article (which was a very long time ago) I intended it to be added to later, which it hasn't half as much as I expected. But yeah, I'd support that idea, although I haven't the sources to write it myself. BTW, I've corrected is'nt to isn't in your above post, I hope you don't mind! Tom, since nobody has jumped at the chance to create an Earth's atmosphere article, I went ahead and did it myself. Let me know what you think of it (on its Talk page). Milton Beychok 19:17, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
