Planning a major revision

I began this article by extracting the text about IUD's from Contraception (medical methods). I have re-written the intro and also am planning a major revision of the entire article. Even if the information now shown is accurate, it is jumbled and disorganized, with the most important information or a woman to know lost in the details--such as effectiveness and risks. Those need to jump out at one near the top of the article. Pat Palmer (talk) 10:02, 14 February 2023 (CST)
