The term teledildonic was coined by Ted Nelson, who was also responsible for the terms hypertext and transclusion. It refers to computerized or virtual reality sex toys.

Teledildonic technology allows a remote partner to control the sex toy, and, possibly, provide some kind of tactile feedback to the remote partner.
