I was a major contributor to the WP article. It required some clean-up before porting it here to CZ, but not very much. Milton Beychok 02:05, 6 September 2008 (CDT)
You have more experience than I with approval...
But aren't all the links supposed to be blue before approval? Howard C. Berkowitz 19:51, 16 September 2008 (CDT)
- Howard, the short answer is "no. That is simply virtually impossible at this stage of CZ's growth ... and it will probably be virtually impossible for many, many months to come.
- Do you really believe, for example, that approval of this article should wait until some authors write articles about Atlantic City, Philadelphia, green engineering, or sustainability? Milton Beychok 21:55, 16 September 2008 (CDT)
- I'm not displeased to hear that -- I have been filling in such linked articles before putting a number of articles into "developed" status. Other than that, the article seems fine to me. I wish I could find some Military and Computers editors for mine!
- Let me take another look when I'm more awake, but this one, at least, seems ready. Howard C. Berkowitz 23:10, 16 September 2008 (CDT)
- Thanks, Howard. I will wait for you to wake up. :>) Milton Beychok 23:36, 16 September 2008 (CDT)
- Incidentally, I'm from New Jersey. I suppose I'd rather write about Atlantic City than Newark, but neither strikes me as especially pressing. :-) Howard C. Berkowitz 23:12, 16 September 2008 (CDT)
- For the record, my take on approval is more one of accuracy but not necessarily meaning complete. We should expect approved articles to continue to improve on the draft page. So i can definitely live with red links. Chris Day 00:35, 17 September 2008 (CDT)
