Jean Sibelius (born 'Johan': 'Jean' is the French version of his name) was a Finnish composer, most famous for his symphonies and tone-poems.
Born in [[]] on [[]] [[]], he lived to be 92, dying in [[]] on [[]] [[]], but after [[]] he produced no music. After struggling for years to produce an eighth symphony, and announcing more than once that it was about to be performed, it seems most likely he burnt it in [[]].
