Initial messages from Jeff Maehre

Jeff, click the edit button for this subheader and type your messages. When finished, type four tildes (~) which will give your name and timestamp your message. --Anthony.Sebastian 18:36, 5 August 2008 (CDT)

The reason there is a date for Bill Berry is that he quit the band in '07. For the rest, the dates are 1980, when the band formed, til the present. I figured that there's no reason to give durations for members who have been around from beginning til now, but instead just make a special note for the one member with a different duration.

I'll work on citations today. Jeff Maehre 07:24, 7 August 2008 (CDT)

Notes to Jeff

Jeff,

See article Table of Contents. Note only one band member has dates shown in parentheses to the right of his name. What about the others?

Way to go, Jeff

Impressive first submission. Aleta Curry 21:52, 6 August 2008 (CDT)

Jeff, Underline 'first' in Aleta's comment above. --Anthony.Sebastian 22:28, 6 August 2008 (CDT)

Having pored over the functions in the menu above, I can't find any underline. Control-U isn't working, either. You've stumped me.--Jeff Maehre 07:34, 7 August 2008 (CDT)

Jeff, to underline, precede word with and end it with. This word underlined. Open this in edit mode to see the exanples. --Anthony.Sebastian 09:38, 7 August 2008 (CDT)

Needs a few major bibliography subpage entries

Jeff, Needs a few major bibliography subpage entries, annotated if possible. You can send to me in ".doc" format if you want, I'll convert. Anthony_Sebastian@msn.com. Anthony.Sebastian 03:16, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Suggestion

The article looks good, very informative, but what do the guys in the band look like? I'm sure there are some free images of the band members floating around somewhere. Drew R. Smith 22:45, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Disambig?

As stated in the article, they took the name form a neuroscientific term, for rapid eye movement, an indicator of when you're dreaming (which occurs in most mammals (including babies for I don't know how long before they're born), many/most birds & a few reptiles).
