I removed the statement that the Atlantic "straddles both geographic poles."  The North Pole is under the Arctic Ocean (which is considered as separate from the Atlantic, no?), and the South Pole is under land, not an ocean. [[User:Bruce M.Tindall|Bruce M.Tindall]] 15:21, 22 February 2008 (CST)
