I am a postgraduate student at the Bernard Price Institute for Palaeontological Research, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), South Africa . I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town in 2006, specialising in Biodiversity & Evolutionary Biology and Zoology. I made the move to Wits at the beginning of 2007. I am currently working with Prof. B.S. Rubidge on the description of a primitive therapsid skull. My interests lie in vertebrate palaeontology, especially the mammal-like reptiles and dinosaurs of southern Africa , as well as entomology and to a lesser extent animal behaviour. I have participated on various field excursions, including trips to the Eastern Cape , Free State , Western Cape and Limpopo Provinces of South Africa.
