Now that we have launched Citizendium, we are beginning to review applications to be a health sciences editor. At this time, in keeping with the initial concept of an editor possessing the qualifications to be a tenured faculty member in the field, that means that health sciences editors must possess the qualifications that would allow at least a senior faculty position at a professional school of health sciences in the relevant discipline. The editors of health science articles have a special role '''in approval''', and in guiding developing articles by being willing to answer questions and advise in the classic role of editors everywhere.
