|notes        = Front view of the Gabe Allen adobe located on Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, 1936. This adobe is also known as the Diego Sepulveda, Estancia (substation for the San Juan Mission) or Polloreno adobe; each a former occupant or owner. Entrance and roof are visible with a chair in the porch area. This adobe may have been built by the San Juan Capistrano Mission. Allen moved to this site in 1871, 1872. Lumber was used to repair the adobe and to build a frame addition.
