I am Justin Anthony Knapp (born 1982-11-18) from Indianapolis, Indiana, United States of America. I am a life-long Hoosier, and attended Covenant Christian High School; upon graduating, I worked there as a tutor in mathematics and physics and a teachers' assistant for two years. I have held several positions at Indiana University (IU) in Indianapolis, including a research assistant in the Center for Philanthropy and Department of Political Science. I completed bachelor's of arts degrees in political science and philosophy at IU. I have a basic proficiency in Spanish and I am a native English speaker; consequently, I have some understanding of Portuguese and Scots. In addition, I have studied Hebrew. On October 5, 2005, I presented a speech to the United Nations General Assembly Fourth Committee on Decolonization on one of my passions: the plight of the Sahrawi people of Western Sahara. Other interests include anarchism, ancient philosophy, early Christianity, Eastern Christianity, ethics, Jainism, Judaism, Immanuel Kant, Søren Kierkegaard, ideology, international relations, the Middle East and North Africa, George Orwell, pacifism, political philosophy, Taoism, theology, Tibet, veganism, web design technologies, and West Papua.
