OK-dokey but what are you testing? And do you agree that we can do this sanely only if we have the above standards worked out? Deep TIA --[[User:Larry Sanger|Larry Sanger]] 19:35, 5 February 2007 (CST) |
Revision as of 19:35, 5 February 2007
I have a request.
If you want to add articles about pop songs, then please go to CZ:Music Workgroup and from there create a link to a new policy page in which you lay out a suggested format and standards for articles about pop songs. Among these should be this important question: given that we lack the resources (and will continue to lack them for a long time) to manage a complete database of the songs of even very popular bands, what practical and well-reasoned criteria can we use to determine whether a song fits our maintainability requirements? On the latter, search CZ:Policy Outline for "maintainability."
Sorry to give you so much work, but I'd like to do this right. :-)
Also I suspect that with the limitless numbers of song names, it's best that we always affix "(song)" to the page title: Love Shack (song).
Thanks in advance!
