- I know Burgoyne had Indian Scouts in his army, but I was under the impression that the Frontiersmen were the agressors against the Indians -> Thousands of Americans desired to settle in lands forbidden to them by the British and once war broke out, saw a chance to do something about it (Or so I thought). Do you know of any online articles I could read about it? Denis Cavanagh 20:21, 4 January 2008 (CST)
- I added a brief section; it needs more on the southern Indians. There is a good treatment of Joseph Brant in the online Dictionary of Canadian BiographyRichard Jensen 20:49, 4 January 2008 (CST)
