Three of the newly dicovered trans-Neptunian objects were named as 'Template:Mpl' - I corrected this to their real 'names' (letters & numbers) using Wikipedia; I don't know how to get the formatting right though, even though they are typed in exactly the same as in Wiki, between brackets like this: {{ }}. Still a lot of dead links. At this point, probably best to convert all dead links to plain text -- though it would be nice to have pages created for Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, main sequence, and Oort cloud, just to name a few. Holy moly! This thing needs to be cleaned up, or started over from scratch... I'll take a look at what I can. --Eric M Gearhart 12:01, 30 March 2007 (CDT)
Gravitation versus Gravity Solar system
The CZ article link is the point, not spelling ease. The link to the article is the proper thing to do unless the article title is changed to 'gravity'. --Thomas Simmons 18:52, 5 November 2007 (CST)
I think more people would be typing in 'gravity' than 'gravitation. Ro Thorpe 08:09, 6 November 2007 (CST)
- I agree with you. The linked article is entitled technically correct though. A redirect would be a good idea. Let me cook one up to take care of this.--Thomas Simmons 19:50, 6 November 2007 (CST)
- OK, I have set up a redirect page. If anyone enters "Gravity" they will get the "Gravitation" article.--Thomas Simmons 19:54, 6 November 2007 (CST)
- That's fine - Ro Thorpe 09:10, 7 November 2007 (CST)
Multiple dead links
Reading the article as it is, " Mercury (Image:Mercury symbol.svg), Venus (Image:Venus symbol.svg), Earth (Image:Earth symbol.svg), Mars (Image:Mars symbol.svg), Jupiter (Image:Jupiter symbol.svg), Saturn (Image:Saturn symbol.svg), Uranus (Image:Uranus symbol.svg), " detracts from its value as an enjoyable or informative endeavour. We need the image symbol links removed until we can get them set up. They have been there since Michael McClellan brought this over from WP in late March of this year--that is seven moths and it does not look like they are going anywhere. Who will do the honours? --Thomas Simmons 19:14, 5 November 2007 (CST)

Definition of Solar System
The definition of solar system given here generalizes to a definition of any star system. Shouldn't it be restricted to only our solar system? -Nachiketa Adhikari 10:24, 29 February 2008 (CST)
- That starts in the second paragraph. I'll add some bolding. Eventually there will be articles about other stars & their systems - if not already - Ro Thorpe 10:52, 29 February 2008 (CST)
Makemake & Haumea
IAU press releases [1] & [2] officially recognize these as dwarf planets. Peter Jackson 17:34, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
