:Personally, if someone really wanted the date, I'd have them click on Battle of Normandy.  It really isn't crucial to the lede.

H-hour, M-minute), is clearly 5 June 1944, not 5-6, because the action started on the 5th.  The campaign, of course, took much longer. [[User:Howard C. Berkowitz|Howard C. Personally, if someone really wanted the date, I'd have them click on Battle of Normandy. It really isn't crucial to the lede.
