The Krka is a river in Slovenia of a total length of 111 km, a right tributary of the Sava river. It origins at the Gradiček village near the village of Krka, about 10 km southwest of Ivančna Gorica or 25 km southeast of Ljubljana. It then flows towards southeast through Žužemberk, then towards east through Novo mesto, and finally meets the Sava river at Brežice near the Slovenian-Croation border.
