Avogadro's number was redefined in 2018, so the current article (dated Oct. 2013) needs updating. But it's not as simple as changing the quoted value (from 6.02214179 x 1023 to the new 6.02214076 x 1023). Because the basis for how it is defined was changed, the text of the article needs revision as well. [[User:Mark Widmer|Mark Widmer]] ([[User talk:Mark Widmer|talk]]) 23:20, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Redefinition of Avogadro's number

Avogadro's number was redefined in 2018, so the current article (dated Oct. 2013) needs updating. But it's not as simple as changing the quoted value (from 6.02214179 x 1023 to the new 6.02214076 x 1023). Because the basis for how it is defined was changed, the text of the article needs revision as well. Mark Widmer (talk) 23:20, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
