Wow! I just moved it to the new title (the one you suggested - again, thanks). The move automatically added the subpages call and created the Timelines subpage. Cool!

Plugin

There is a nice plugin for MediaWiki for making timelines, see http://infodisiac.com/Wikipedia/EasyTimeline/Introduction.htm  —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 21:55, 4 September 2007 (CDT)

Question on moving article to Timeline subpage

There is currently an article entitld Joan of Arc, timeline. It is listed on the Related articles subpage of Joan of Arc. I want to create a Timelines subpage and move that article to that new subpage.

Question #1: What should the title be? Should it be (giving the full path): "Joan of Arc/Timelines/Joan of Arc, timeline"? Or should it be "Joan of Arc/Timelines/Timeline" (so as not to repeat the JoA name)?

Question #2: How do I make this move? Do I create the Timelines subpage and then move the Joan of Arc, timeline article? Or do I do it in the opposite order?

I believe it should be Joan of Arc/Timelines, and the timeline goes on that page. To move it, you'd just move the article to Joan of Arc/Timelines and put the {{subpages}} template at the top of it. --Robert W King 11:27, 7 February 2008 (CST)
If you want, you can check Wristwatch/Timelines for an example. --Robert W King 11:30, 7 February 2008 (CST)

Wow! I just moved it to the new title (the one you suggested - again, thanks). The move automatically added the subpages call and created the Timelines subpage. Cool!
