Just a few comments  1) Some sort of of date in the opening telling us when they split from the Irish Volunteer Force. 2) the Easter Rising section uses  Mc Neill and MacNiell, which is correct? (I assume Mc Neill).  Also, I found this paragraph still a bit confusing as someone who knows nothing on the subject - for example, I think it would be better to clarify who Padraig Pearse was - a dual member of the IRB and the Volunteers? and 3) I notice that "GHQ" is linked in the 3rd section, which you have piped to General headquarters.  Is this something significant enough to have it's own link? --[[User:Todd Coles|Todd Coles]] 15:39, 17 August 2007 (CDT)

: I cleaned up the intro a bit, basically copying from the National Volunteers article.  Might need some tweaks. --[[User:Todd Coles|Todd Coles]] 09:45, 21 August 2007 (CDT)
