==Theatre as a structure?==
I think the lead is wrong. It states that, except for Nortn America, people refering to theatre are most often referring to the ''building''. When a British actor states that he is working in theatre, I feel quite certain that he is, again, referring to the ''medium'' of theatre. The lead should simply reflect that theatre can be used as either the medium of the stage or as a word for the stage itself. Like, well, the stage. Or the cinema. And so on. Theatre as a structure?

I think the lead is wrong. It states that, except for Nortn America, people refering to theatre are most often referring to the building. When a British actor states that he is working in theatre, I feel quite certain that he is, again, referring to the medium of theatre. The lead should simply reflect that theatre can be used as either the medium of the stage or as a word for the stage itself. Like, well, the stage. Or the cinema. And so on.
