Yes, right now it looks like an essay. I've never heard of Rene Girard--not that that means anything--and the article says "Girard's works are based firmly within the field of anthropology," so I wonder why this wasn't placed in the Anthro Workgroup. --[[User:Larry Sanger|Larry Sanger]] 18:20, 14 May 2007 (CDT) | Yes, right now it looks like an essay. This article definitely needs cleanup. I've been meaning to read a book by one of my lecturers on Girard (I saw Girard speak in London a few years ago too). I'll hopefully come back and re-edit this to make it encyclopedic very soon. --[[User:Tom Morris|Tom Morris]] 14:40, 16 May 2008 (CDT) | |||

Current aim for editing
My current aim is to make it more like an encylopedia article and see how it goes. Grant Sparks
Yes, right now it looks like an essay. I've never heard of Rene Girard--not that that means anything--and the article says "Girard's works are based firmly within the field of anthropology," so I wonder why this wasn't placed in the Anthro Workgroup. --Larry Sanger 18:20, 14 May 2007 (CDT)

Necessary changes
I've removed the Wikipedia link. I've also removed the "^" symbols that are littered throughout. We certainly need to get rid of the Conclusion. As for the workgroups, Girard sits on the borderlines between philosophy, theology/religion, anthropology and literature. If you haven't heard of him, do go and listen to the interviews from Stanford's Entitled Opinions show. --Tom Morris 14:10, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
