University of Pennsylvania
The University of Pennsylvania is an Ivy League U.S. institution in Philadelphia, commonly referred to as Penn or UPenn. It is the fourth oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Dr. Liz Magill was inaugurated in July 2022 as the University of Pennsylvania's 9th president, its first new leader in 18 years.
Upenn has the sixth largest endowment (over $20 billion) of all the ivy league universities.
Undergraduate tuition at UPenn in 2022-2023 is $56,212 per year. Upenn estimates that, in 2023, it would require $85,738 for one year to attend while living on campus, and at least $70,558 per year if living "with family". Penn has substantial aid packages for students with a qualifying family income.
