Kailash Satyarthi is an Indian children's rights activist working against child labour, and the seventh Indian recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, which he was awarded in 2014 alongside Malala Yousafzai. He founded the Save the Childhood Movement in 1980 and during the 1990s was a lead organiser of the Global March Against Child Labour, which campaigned against modern slavery. He has also been involved in the fight against forced marriage.[1]
Satyarthi dedicated his Nobel Prize to all children, child rights activists and fellow Indians.[2]
