General comments
From some experience here, I've found it often works better not to write about individual cases until an overall context is established. For example, we had a number of imported Wikipedia articles about prisoners at Guantanamo, but there was no common threading until extrajudicial detention, extrajudicial detention, U.S., and extrajudicial detention, U.S., George W. Bush Administration.
It's also often harder to avoid advocacy and stay neutral at the individual level. At first glance, this article seems written from the defense perspective for Long.
Note that there is an Iraq War article, and it certainly would be appropriate to branch a balanced article on troop attitudes and the legal context from it. Howard C. Berkowitz 22:45, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
