User talk:Nancy Sabatier
Welcome!
Welcome, new editor! We're very glad you've joined us. Here are pointers for a quick start. Also, when you get a chance, please read The Editor Role. You can look at Getting Started for other helpful introductory pages. It is essential for you as an editor to join the Citizendium-Editors (broadcast) mailing list in order to stay abreast of editor-related issues, as well as the mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. It is also important, for project-wide matters, to join the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and thank you! We appreciate your willingness to share your expertise, and we hope to see your edits on Recent changes soon. I feel like I know you already!
I've seen your name all over Gareth's research. I'm willing to bet that he owes all his expertise to you! :) Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. D. Matt Innis 20:57, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
U00984
Hi Nancy,
I saw that you were setting up CZ:(U00984) Appetite and Obesity, University of Edinburgh 2010. On the way, you deleted the section "The course mechanics" that was meant to help you set up the course homepage such that when individual articles are started, they can be pre-filled with some course-specific content, formatting and instructions. Please let me know if you want me to help you with setting this up.
I also took another look at CZ:(U00984) Appetite and Obesity, University of Edinburgh 2009 and think it merits a closer look from your side, or possibly even from this year's students.

- Everything looks fine now. Let me know if there are problems with creating the actual articles. --Daniel Mietchen 14:42, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- If you follow the "click this button" method, the notice should appear automatically in each of the articles. Give it a try with one, and let me know if you are stuck. You can't break anything. --Daniel Mietchen 10:50, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- I fixed "Stress and appetite" twice. Please start the other articles using the "click this button" method described for each entry at the course homepage. --Daniel Mietchen 11:33, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- If you want to understand what went wrong, you can still see all recent edits via Special:RecentChanges, and if they are gone there, you can access them via the "history" tab of the article and metadata pages, which will allow you to compare different versions. --Daniel Mietchen 11:40, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
