New Scientist is a weekly science periodical intended for a general audience founded in 1956 and published by Reed Business Information Ltd. The current editor is Jeremy Webb. It contains news, opinion, essays and other features on science and technology, and on the political issues related to science. It also contains puzzles and 'enigmas'. A website is also available, featuring daily news articles, and 'SciPod', a podcast.
