Note: Doc M. Pepper is a regular at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe and a friend of Wrecks Bell. He took the photos at the Stingaree Music Festival: Permission is granted below.

Doc really is my legal first name (I come from a very funny family). My parents gave me a nice normal middle name to use if I so desired- "Michael". I used it for about a year in 7th grade, but since everyone was still making fun of the "Pepper" part anyway, I soon switched back to Doc.

I just googled myself to see if I could find some "credentials" and found a web page http://genforum.com/pepper/page3.html I'm on it as someone who supplied a reference to Jesse James Pepper who was my great grandfather (like I said, I come from a very funny family).

When I'm not honkytonking with Wrecks, I'm also a stamp collector- an expert in United States Newspaper stamps (whatever those were). http://home.comcast.net/~pepperclan/

Hey Dave, permission to use photos granted. My real name really is Doc M. Pepper.

These are better shots of Liz and Lincoln both- I notice you only took pictures of Liz :) and some pretty good shots of Ray, Bonnie, and Hayes.

P.S. My son, Ryan Pepper (Junior at U of Texas) is very interested in your specialty. He just got accepted into a molecular genetics program at M.D. Anderson via a U of T program of some sort (my wife keeps track of details). I think at one point Ryan was looking into U of Texas Galveston as well. You might also know Lavina LaGrone who works down there.

Glad you liked the pictures! I had a blast at Singaree!!
