It is possible to rename your Citizendium account. Instances where this can be considered on a case-by-case basis are:

  • Your name was legally changed, such as through marriage, divorce, or other legal proceeding
  • If you really, really dislike your real-named username (e.g., your complete First, Middle, and Last name) and want to use your everyday real name (e.g., Shortened First, Last)
  • Other reasons as deemed justifiable by the Chief Constable

Linneus level access or higher is required to change names. To request a name change, email the constabulary. Verification may be requested.
