Biography: After a career as an actuary for a large insurance company, I am enjoying being able in retirement to expand other long-held interests, ranging from most things scientific (but particularly physics, astronomy and molecular biology) to classical music, especially music written for the piano. I am also a keen walker and enjoy researching and walking long distance trails and other waymarked paths.
