Biography: Frank Salvato serves as the vice president and executive director of Basics Project a non-profit, non-partisan, 501(C)(3) research and education initiative. He also serves as the managing editor for The New Media Journal. He is a contributing writer for CNS News, ChronWatch, Family Security Matters, and The American Chronicle. His pieces have been featured in Townhall.com, The Washington Times, American Enterprise, The Federal Observer, US Politics Today, The London Morning Paper, Real Clear Politics and Pravda among over 100 other publications both nationally and internationally. He has been quoted in The Federalist. He has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor on FOX News Channel. Mr. Salvato is the host of The New Media Journal on BlogTalk Radio, a weekly syndicated internet radio program. He is a regular guest on The Right Balance with Greg Allen on the Accent Radio Network, syndicated on over 20 stations nationally. His writing has been recognized by the US House International Relations Committee and the Japan Center for Conflict Prevention. His non-profit organization, Basics Project, partnered in producing the first ever national symposium series addressing the root causes of radical Islamist terrorism. These symposiums offer lectures from the most respected terrorism and counter-terrorism experts in the world.
