Template:No metadata template
Alternative usage
The template has two forms depending on what pages are missing:
- Appearance 1 text will appear on any page that has an article page but no associated metadata page.
- Appearance 2 text will appear on a page with no associated metadata page or article page (orphaned subpages).

There is no Metadata template for this page. Please create the "metadata template".
Using the instructions below will complete the process if creating subpages! For background, see Using the Subpages template. However, you can create articles without subpages. Really! Just remove the {{subpages}} template from the top of this page and this metadata prompt will disappear. :) Don't feel obligated to use subpages, it's more important that you write sentences, which you can always do without writing fancy code.
- (1) In the box below, replace "ARTICLE_NAME" with the new article name, making sure that you leave "Template:" and "/Metadata" around the new name.
