Sherbrooke is a middle-sized city[1] located in Quebec, Canada. Using electrical power from one river, it started as a small city producing wool products, and established itself as an industrial city.
As of 2007, it is the central city of the Eastern Townships, having many federal and provincial bureaus on its territory. It has two universities : University of Sherbrooke and Bishop's University, and four hospitals, the most famous being the CHUS, specialized in treatment of heart diseases and in interns training.
