I am an economist with a doctoral degree from the Free University of Berlin, Germany. I am a Senior Economist at the World Bank where I have been working for the last nine years on infrastructure and the environment, particularly on water supply, sanitation and water resources management. I was born, raised and educated in Germany, where I worked for five years as a researcher at the German Development Institute.
