Ian Fleming was a writer from the United Kingdom.[1][2]
He is best known for creating the fiction character of James Bond, a secret agent with "a license to kill". Fleming wrote 12 novels featuring Bond.
Fleming served in Naval Intelligence during World War 2 and commentators credit his real world experience for making his novels more entertaining.
