You can propose changes to the way the Citizendium project is run via this page during the July-August 2013 special election. Referendum proposals close at midnight UTC on July 27th, 2013.

For this election, there are already three referenda that will appear on the ballot because these have been authorised in advance by the Management Council. If you wish to propose your own referendum, check that the issue that concerns you is not already covered by these referenda. You can also discuss proposed referenda on each referendum's Talk page.

To nominate candidates for various elected positions, see the nominations page.

Proposing referenda

This page describes how to submit a Citizen-initiated referenda, as specified in Article 37.2 of the Charter, for this election. As there were no candidates and no votes in the previous election, referendum proposals only require one supporter. The Managing Editor may reject proposals.

Instructions

How to create a referendum

To create a referendum, simply...

  2. Add a link to that subpage to the list given in the following referenda section.
  3. Add your name as the proposer by signing with four tildes, underneath and indented with two asterisks: **Proposed by ~~~~.

Discussion of a referendum should occur on the Talk page of the newly created subpage.
