Cabanatuan

A place on Luzon Island in the Phillipines, which was a Japanese prisoner of war camp in the Second World War. When Allied intelligence learned that the captors were preparing to kill the prisoners, the Cabanatuan Raid was launched, and became a successful hostage rescue.
