Fair use rationale for Bobby Driscoll

  1. The image is showing thirteen year old Bobby Driscoll receiving his Academy Award for the movies THE WINDOW, 1949 and SO DEAR TO MY HEART, 1948, presented by Donald O'Connor.
  2. No free or public domain images have been located for this film historic event. (Bobby Driscoll was the ninth of only twelve children/juveniles in Hollywood's history to ever receive such an award).
  3. The image is of lower resolution than the original photograph, which is in the possession of the uploader and copies made from it will be of inferior quality.
  4. The image is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the original copyright in any way.
  5. There is no free source known, where the image is used similarily.
  6. The images's use on Wikipedia is entirely encyclopedic in nature.
