Slovenian (or Slovene) language is an Indo-European language that belongs to the family of South Slavic languages. It is spoken by about 2 million speakers, mainly in Slovenia but also in some regions of Italy, Austria and Hungary with Slovenian minorities.
Slovenian is one of the few languages who preserved the dual grammatical number.
The word Slovenian litrally means Slavic.
