To enable editing only the intro section of an article, which is useful to people who have slower internet connections, and may help prod such editing. See this forums post.
- Usage
- Place
{{editintro}}atop any page but below the{{subpages}}template. - Place
{{subst:editintro-talknote}}atop but below the{{subpages}}template and{{WPimport}}template (if it exists) on the article's talk page.
- Usage notes
This template must be manually removed prior article approval, since __NOEDITSECTION__ included in the approval fails to kill this template. That is the reason for step two, which notes this on the article's talk page.
