This needs substantial work

From memory, there were at least two major trials, TIMI and TIMI2. I believe there were some followon multicenter trials that didn't perpetuate the TIMI name but are logical extensions.

I did a quick cut-and-paste of two outcomes, in uncategorized articles, about TIMI. My recollection is that TIMI material is scattered into several articles, and it needs some careful discussion how to structure it. Some may be better in general myocardial infarction articles; we may want multiple articles on thrombolysis, variously coronary, cerebral, peripheral, etc.

My suggestion is that there be a discussion with Health Sciences Editors and Authors familiar with both the relevant cardiology and emergency medicine, and even prehospital thrombolysis. --Howard C. Berkowitz 09:25, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
