USS Lake Erie (CG-70) [r]: A Baseline 4 Ticonderoga-class cruiser of the United States Navy, which has been one of the primary test ships for the RIM-161 Standard SM-3 ballistic missile defense system; she successfully shot down a malfunctioning satellite in 2004
