This phrase: "the nuclear reactions in the uranium salt likely to have been involved were" should be re-written somehow. Unless the fundamental physics of uranium decay have changed since Rutherford's day, the equations are either correct or incorrect. On the other hand, if there is doubt that he used uranium, the sentence would be true since it is pure speculation. David E. Volk 18:09, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
